Disclosure Statement

Disclosure 2016-12-18T17:00:42+00:00

There will be times when I add links, talk about products and tell you how much I love something. The few third-party products I link to basically pay for my hosting fees … the purpose of this blog is to openly teach and share. I’m a photographer and author, not a journalist. My intention is to be as truthful as possible in my postings, however my personal opinion and biases will find their way into my posts as well.

If you see me talking about “how much I love <fill in the blank product>”, then I truly do. I will never take money or free stuff to falsely claim I enjoy using something or lie about how I feel about a product. I will not hide the facts if I got the product or service for free.

If I’m linking to one of my books, there’s a good chance that I’m making money on book royalties and affiliate fees. If I’m linking to a product in my online store, then yes, I make money on the sales of those products.

If I’m linking to Amazon.com then there is a 100% chance that I included my affiliate code in the link. So yes … I get a little tiny cut if you buy it, or anything else after clicking on the link. But the product would cost exactly the same if you buy it without my link (so take that into consideration). ;)

I want to be as open and transparent in the dealings with my blog as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message using the contact form on this site.
