You mentioned in the video that waves/ripples in the water was unavailable. I have had good luck with a Photoshop plugin called Flood 2 by Flaming Pear Software. If you use layers and the selection tool in Photoshop you can get a fairly decent ripple effect in the reflection. the website is http://www.flamingpear.com/flood-2.html BTW I receive no remuneration for recommending this software.
