Waterfalls & Waves
A Comprehensive Guide to Long-Exposure Water Photography

waterfalls-productIt’s no coincidence that I live in the Pacific Northwest. I moved out here for two reasons: the photographic opportunities, and the cool, rainy weather. The plethora of waterfalls in and around the Columbia River Gorge mean I always have a beautiful subject to photograph, along with a nice, long coastline, which is only a 1.5 hour drive from my home in Portland. In fact, my interest in landscape photography sparked soon after I purchased my first neutral density filter. The ability to soften the look of water with a filter fascinated me; I discovered that a landscape could in fact be a moving, living thing! Fast-forward about five years to the present, where my love for landscape and long-exposure photography has made a huge impact on my work. So much so that I have dedicated my newest eBook to that very topic.

Today I am happy to announce that my newest project, Waterfalls & Waves, is released and on the (virtual) shelves! This eBook is filled with all of my knowledge about creating long-exposure images of water, covering topics such as filters, calculating exposures, composition tips, and more. it also comes with video tutorials showing how I process my landscape long exposures using Lightroom and ON1 Photo.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to turn a “normal” photograph of a waterscape into a cotton-candy wonderland, then this is the eBook for you!
