This month marks my blog’s tenth anniversary. I started out slow, with no purpose other than to share photos and my experiences. Who knew it would grow to what it has become! Ten years is a long time, I’m so grateful and happy that I am able to spend my life as a photographer, but even more so, that I have been able to use this website as a way to help and inspire others.

I find it appropriate to mark this anniversary in a beautiful destination. As I type this, I am in the Southern part of Iceland, chasing the light and crossing my fingers for sunsets and beautiful weather. But, just like in life, you don’t always get what you hoped for. Our sunset was stormed out last night, and as I type this I am sitting in a rest stop, staying out of the rain and catching up on email and writing before heading home in a few days. Thankfully, I had at least one epic night of fire in the sky, as you can see in the image attached to this post.

Thank you all for joining me on my little adventure. I hope you’ll stick around for (at least) another ten years!

That’s one of those images you can’t believe is real, but you know it is. Exceptionally well done!
