If you’re in the Bay Area, I’m going to be one of the featured artists displaying work at an upcoming art show in San Jose! I’m really excited for this, it’s one of the first times I’ve put my work on display in a show so it should be pretty fun. :) Here are the details:

  • What: RAW Art Show: “En Masse” (link)
  • When: Thursday, August 15 2013 from 8:00 pm to Midnight
  • Where: Rodeo Club, 610 Coleman Ave., San Jose, CA (link to map)
  • Tickets: $10, click HERE to purchase
  • Attire: Cocktail attire (yes, you’ll actually see me wearing a dress) :)

The work I’ll be showing is a small collection of some of my landscape and travel photography. I’m having my photographs printed as BackLit Boxes; the space will be somewhat dark and I think these will shine beautifully in the dimly lit room. I will also be giving away a 12×18 BackLit Box with one of my images on it at the show, so you have to show up to enter your name in the drawing!

BTW, the company who runs these shows, RAW, is pretty amazing, they are all about supporting local artists and have a very “grass-roots” feel about them. I’m really excited to be a part of it. Also, the money from the ticket sales goes right back into the event and putting it together. Basically, no one is profiting from the show (unless we sell our art, that is). :)

Click HERE to buy a ticket and support me at the show! And hey, even if you can’t make it, I’d appreciate the support :)
