Canon 5DMkIII, Canon 100mm Macro lens, 1/125 sec at f/13, ISO 1600

For the past week I’ve been on an amazing adventure through Australia with my husband, Brian Matiash. We’re here for Tourism Australia to photograph our experiences as well as share them throughout the trip. It’s a very food-and-wine themed trip, but of course we get to see and photograph so much more. So far we’ve been to Tasmania and had beer and whiskey tastings, a six-course degustation meal, a picnic on the beach with some local photographers and stood in a field on a farm while a flock of over 700 sheep circled around us. It’s been a ridiculously amazing trip, to say the least. :)

If you want to follow along in my journeys, be sure to find me over on Google+, Facebook and Instagram, and I’m also pinning the majority of my posts and photos over on a Pinterest board to collect everything into one place. We’re also hosting a photowalk in Melbourne, Australia on March 8th … here is a link to the details over on Google+ if you want to join in!

Great shot! I have and love that 100MM Macro lens, even at f13 you have a very nice soft background. Also that Mark III at ISO 1600 looks great, I currently have the Mark II.
