Fuzzy Flowers

While I was in Mount Rainier a few weeks ago I found a bunch of little wildflowers to photograph and these tiny “Lorax” flowers stood out to me. I remember them from my last trip to Rainier in 2009 and all I remember thinking was how much they look like “Dr. Suess” flowers. They’re crazy looking and fuzzy, I wanted to get a few close-ups of them but it was too windy to get a good focus stack … so I went all “shallow DOF” on them instead.

But seriously, don’t these look like the flowers from the Lorax? :) http://amzn.to/NsC6cv
