I had a fun “mini-shoot” yesterday with a new model. We did some simple portrait/headshot images and then threw in some “stocky” stuff … I am so loving all the fall colors, and these trees were just a gorgeous backdrop for this image.

I’ve been doing lots of shoots over the past few weeks, and I’ve got a lot more planned, too. It’s good to be back behind my camera. Writing is fun, but actually creating photos is where I really feel at home. More to come … :)

The lighting in this is perfect…you definitely have a gift for lighting…what is the best source for learning this and getting it down?
