Yesterday I received an email from someone telling me she found one of my images used on the NPR.org website! (Thanks, Kathryn Ware!) I have sold close to 30,000 images through iStockphoto but it still doesn’t get old seeing my photos in use. The great thing about this image is that it was one of my favorites from that particular photoshoot, and I also would have never seen it “in action” if not for someone who was kind enough to send a quick email my way.

Congratulations, Nicole! You deserve it. Thanks for sharing your expertise on your blog, Twitter, etc. You inspire me.

  2. Wow. 30,000 photos? You really do turn over a lot volume there. I guess that’s how the model works, but it’s still kind of a shocking number.

It is always nice to see one’s photos in use.
