There will be times when I add links, talk about products and tell you how much I love something. The few products I link to basically pay for my hosting fees, and if I’m lucky I’ll even have enough money at the end of the month to take my husband out for a nice dinner. The purpose of this blog is to openly teach and share, not to make enough money to pay my bills. I’m a photographer and author, not a journalist. My intention is to be as truthful as possible in my postings, however my personal opinion and biases will find their way into my posts as well.
If you see me talking about “how much I love <fill in the blank product>”, then I truly do. I will never take money or free stuff to falsely claim I enjoy using something or lie about how I feel about a product. I will not hide the facts if I got the product or service for free.
If I’m linking to one of my books, there’s a good chance that I’m making money on book royalties and affiliate fees.
If I’m linking to Amazon.com then there is a 100% chance that I included my affiliate code in the link. So yes … I get a little tiny cut if you buy it, or anything else after clicking on the link. But the product would cost exactly the same if you buy it without my link (so take that into consideration). ;)
