Edited with onOne Software’s FocalPoint 2

I’m playing around with some old photos and had some fun with this image using +onOne Software‘s FocalPoint 2. I’m also a Photoshop geek and one of my favorite tricks with this software is to create a selection in Photoshop and then bring it into FocalPoint … it remembers your selection and uses it as a mask to keep those areas in focus. Pretty nifty :)

I’m also writing a book all about the +onOne Software Perfect Photo Suite (which will include cool tips like this one!). Here’s a link to check it out: http://amzn.to/MfZUj4 … won’t be ready til December-ish, but I’m working my hiney off to get it out as quickly as possible. :)

BTW, if you’re interested in any of the onOne software products, use the discount code NICOLESY for 15% off. :)

+Nicole S. Young A great shot in its own right but this effect with OnOne is surreal.  Interested to learn more.

Formerly known as landscape arch. Landscape makes more sense. What used to be delicate arch is like sixty feet long and as narrow as six feet at one point. We think they mixed up the signs and never fixed it. Watching the shadows slowly creep up the mountain through the arch makes you understand why it used to be called landscape arch. I love arches national park.

  27. You don't realize how large the arch is till you see people standing by it.  I like the blur effect—almost looks 3D
